Use Factory VIN as a public-data reference, not a safety, history, or purchase decision guarantee.
Limits
A sheet is a copy of public factory and recall data as of its displayed timestamp. It is not proof that a vehicle is safe, not proof of inclusion in a recall, and not a vehicle history report.
Recall status
Only the official government VIN check can determine whether an exact vehicle has an unrepaired recall. A campaign-level result is only a manufacturer recall notice matched by year, make, and model. It must not be used as an exact-VIN result.
